The Think Group & Scholarly Pursuits

Scholarly Pursuits, Inc. is an organization who believes in philanthropic and social investment programs designed to teach students of various ages about the process of philanthropy.  We do so by engaging students in projects that are aimed at finding non-profit organizations in their communities that assist people in need.  These organizations consist of the nationally known names such as United Way, American Red Cross, etc., but also include many local and/or regional non-profit organizations who depend solely on local giving for their total support and survival!

We strive to find corporate sponsors who fund our various philanthropic programs for 8th graders, high school seniors and for our collegiate partners program.  Once we find the "right" corporate sponsors, we work to foster meaningful relationships between Scholarly Pursuits, our corporate clients, educational institutions and the teachers at those schools.

Our current programs start in the 8th grade with the Scholarly Pursuits Junior Giving. The largest current project is our nationwide Papa Johns Pizza Scholars program for high school seniors.  We are proud to serve Papa Johns Pizza as our corporate client who funds 1200 scholarships for high school seniors in over 35 states currently.  This program allows Papa Johns Pizza to "give" $1.2 million annually to very deserving students.  Finally, our Collegiate Partners program is designed to further enhance the Papa Johns Scholars program with additional matching scholarship funds.

Thank you for visiting The Think Group & Scholarly Pursuits here on the web.  Please take time to browse through all our site and review each program closely.  We would love for you to become involved so feel free to contact us with any questions you might have.
