Scholarly Pursuits and Papa Johns Pizza are proud to work together in an effort to touch many high school seniors’ lives.  Over the past several years, we have been able to offer $1,000 scholarships to thousands of students in over 35 states.  Papa Johns Pizza Corporate and many franchise owners are committed to providing 1200 scholarships annually under the Scholarly Pursuits program.

• Providing a list of eligible high schools for each participating store
• Collecting enrollment forms from students
• Providing a list of media outlets (TV, Radio, Newspapers, etc.) to which it would be appropriate to send news releases at various steps in the program
• Working with Scholarly Pursuits & the corporate advertising agency (if appropriate) to form a relationship with a local media partner
• Forming regional selection committees to choose winners 
• Organizing in-class surprise pizza parties for scholarship recipients
• Organizing attendance of Papa Johns personnel at awards ceremonies
• Coordination of awards dinners & culmination event

Scholarly Pursuits receives over 50,000 high school student applications annually under this program.  We are responsible to review each application for accuracy and to work with regional Papa Johns coordinators to choose the finalist in each participating area school where scholarships are to be awarded.
